Eskuta's SX-800 electric motorcycle harmoniously fuses traditional motorcycling elements with state-of-the-art electric power, embodying our unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle technology.

On a single 7-hour charge, it delivers an approximate range of 40-50 miles*. With a dedicated Lithium-ion charger with internal cooling fan and 13amp 3 pin plug it is able to charge anywhere. Crafted on a sturdy electroplated lightweight steel frame, reinforced with impact-resistant body panels, our electric motorcycle features a digital speedometer and a power level indicator, propelled by high-performance 18" alloy wheels with reinforced tubeless road tyres

Our Whole Vehicle Type Approval certificate assures compliance with essential standards, instilling confidence in your choice. Covered by a 12-month warranty or up to 8,000 miles of use, the SX-800 exemplifies our unwavering dedication to innovation, performance, and sustainable mobility.

FAQ

Questions about the SX-800.

  • The SX-800 requires a CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) moped certificate at minimum. Riders who hold a full Category A motorcycle licence (or a Category A licence issued before 1st February 2001) can also ride it. A full car licence issued after February 2001 does NOT cover the SX-800.

  • Yes. The SX-800 is classified as an L1e motor vehicle and requires at least third-party motor insurance. It must also be DVLA registered with a number plate before use on public roads. Road tax is required but is currently free for electric vehicles.

  • WVTA is a UK and European certification confirming that the entire vehicle meets all regulatory standards for road use as a motor vehicle. It is the same certification standard applied to motorcycles and mopeds. The SX-800's WVTA means it is fully road-legal as a registered motor vehicle — not a grey area product.

  • The SX-800 delivers 40–50 miles per charge from its 48V 26Ah (1,248Wh) lithium-ion battery. Range varies with speed, riding mode, terrain, and rider weight. A full charge costs approximately 12p and takes around 7 hours.

  • Eco mode limits top speed for maximum range — ideal for long distances or stop-start urban riding. Comfort mode offers balanced power and range for everyday use. Sport mode unlocks full performance at 29mph with maximum acceleration. You can switch between modes while riding.

  • No. The Cycle to Work scheme only applies to EAPC-certified electric bicycles. The SX-800 is a licensed motor vehicle (L1e classification) and does not qualify. If you want a Cycle to Work eligible model, the SX-250 is EAPC-certified and fully eligible.

  • The SX-250 is EAPC-certified (250W, 15.5mph) — no licence, no insurance, no road tax, cycle lane access. The SX-800 is a full motorcycle (800W, 29mph) — requires CBT, insurance, and DVLA registration, but offers nearly double the speed. Both share the same battery, range, frame construction, and build quality.

  • Each SX-800 is built to order. Build time is approximately 7 working days, with delivery typically 2 weeks from the order date. Delivery includes a personal white-glove handover and demonstration at your door.
